Taping into the computing power of GPU
Maybe the developer of MetaTrader4 can adapt the code for a fast parallel genetic algorithm using CUDA at [url]http://sourceforge.net/projects/cuda-ga/[/url] .
This will enable the optimization be done by Navida CUDA enable graphics card to speed up the optimization.
New to MT4 application:
1) Need to know whether there is an API for MT4 application
2) Is MT4 application made compatible with GPU for real time optimization
Any help in this regard would be helpful.

Can future version of MetaTrader tap into the computing power of the graphic card like Navida GeForce ?
Currently these GPU is being tap to speed up grid computing ( http://www.gridcomputingplanet.com/article.php/3792971). In the article it looks like a single GPU is 20 faster than a PC in mathematical calculation.
If this is implemented in future version, the optimization will be very much faster, maybe making even real time optimization possible. Real time pattern identification using neural network might be possible.
Anyway quite a few computer already have this GPU card in their computer and it only the software coding that's needed to tap into this hidden computing power.
