Could a MetaQuotes representative investigate an unusual execution on the MetaQuotes-Demo server? This concerns a demo account only.

AUDUSD position details:

  • Position: 11135286609

  • Direction and volume: BUY, 5.05 lots

  • Entry price: 0.70358

  • Initial Stop Loss: 0.70259

  • Take Profit: 0.70659

The trade history reports that this position closed at 0.00856 on 2026.10.28 at 09:18:10, with a loss of USD 350,985.10.

Closing order: 11136383389
Closing deal: 10882521512
The recorded closing reason is Stop Out (reason 6).
The raw closing timestamp returned by the API is 1793179090.

A subsequent AUDUSD tick-history query covering raw timestamps 1793178790 to 1793179390 returned 331 ticks. The lowest Bid was 0.70289 and the highest Bid was 0.70317. No Bid of 0.00856 appeared in those returned ticks.

I understand that the returned tick history may be incomplete or revised, and the timestamp alignment needs confirmation. I am not assuming a cause.

Could you please clarify:

  1. What server quote or event caused the execution at 0.00856?

  2. Was the position's Stop Loss still active immediately before the close? If so, why did it not close near the Stop Loss?

  3. Are these deal and tick timestamps directly comparable on this server?

  4. Was there a demo price-feed or execution incident at that time?

I have the trade report and terminal logs. Please advise how to provide any account-specific information privately.

first -- a sl is not guaranteed. a news event or market crash can cause price to break thru any sl, yes on live trading too.

But if you searched the forum, you would find that using mq demo is a bad idea. it is notoriously known for being unreliable. do not use it for trading or data analysis.

It is mostly for updating to beta versions of mt5 and testing the program for bugs. not for trading.
