MT5 Build 6290 Strategy Tester fails to load built-in indicators — Error 4805:
Hello,
My MT5 Strategy Tester stopped working. Both my custom EA and the built-in ExpertMACD fail during initialization.
Platform: MetaTrader 5 Build 6290
Symbols tested: XAUUSD-STD and XAUUSDm
Errors in Journal:
cannot load indicator 'Moving Average' [4805]
cannot load indicator 'MACD' [4805]
tester stopped because OnInit failed with history error
Previously, the Journal also showed “bad container found, must be resynchronized” and “0 ticks”.
I tested using different brokers, but the problem persisted. I also reinstalled MT5 and the issue remained.
Could you help investigate whether this is a Strategy Tester, indicator-loading, or historical tick-data synchronization problem?
I can provide screenshots and Journal logs.
