Timeframe change - Why is MT4 is much faster than MT5?

Why is it that MT5 has a white flicker when you change timeframes while MT4 operates smoothly? Is it because the charts in MT5 are not preserved and are rebuilt every timeframe switch? How does this affect the objects in the charts? Is there a way, or can you make a way to make the chart engine the same as MT4?

I have an indicator that mostly has 500 objects on 7 charts, and it works fine. All 7 charts simultaneously change smoothly. I've coded it into MT5 and made it more optimized, but it is  slower compared to MT4's chart change.

I've already done some optimizations like:

Not run, update, or scan objects every tick
Do not update when reason = chart change.
No deleting and recreating objects when switching chart timeframes

When objects are first initialized, only change objects that need updating and make other objects stale.

MT5 is really catastrophe in all points!

MT4 just has to download the new timeframe from the broker. The work was already done there. Permanent disk usage even when not in use.

MT5 has to generate the new timeframe from the M1 data it already has. Temporary RAM/disk usage, none when not in use.

Different design goals.

On which planet is MT4 superior to MT5? The issue is a matter of MQL4 (modeled after C#) versus MQL5 (modeled after C++). That is self-explanatory─MT5 is superior, provided that the user has the requisite coding skills.

You can say that again.😂

To clarify, MT4 was originally modeled after C#. When MT5 was originally modeled after C++, MT4 was altered in an attempt to mimic MT5... but where is the native tick history in MT4? 🤷‍♂️

An other of your hallucination I guess ?

AI slop is already boring and annoying, but human slop is a horrible.

The custom programming languages originally supported therein each. No?
