ICICI Visa Debit Card – Withdrawal Issue

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with withdrawals to my ICICI Visa debit card.

The same card has worked successfully for my previous withdrawals. However, my last three withdrawal attempts were unsuccessful.

I contacted ICICI Bank and they confirmed that there is currently no restriction or block on my card for receiving funds.

Has anyone using an ICICI Visa debit card experienced a similar withdrawal issue recently?

If you have faced this problem, could you please share how you resolved it or what information you provided to support?

Hello this problem is definitely from ICICI bank and yes I faced the issue. Their customer care are unaware of incident that their server often rejects icici bank card to accept money via VISA Direct. I would advice to try with other bank card which works fine. I would like to tell you sometime these card may work and sometimes don't.

I’m also from India. Could you suggest which bank’s debit card works well with VISA Direct? I’m considering opening a new account, so your recommendation would be helpful.

Please try withdrawal on Monday to Friday IST Banking hours time. It may work. If it does not work, it could be issue with bank server. You need to contact bank for reason. Make sure your debit card is enabled to receive international payment from mobile app of bank

Thanks for your reply. Based on my analysis, most Mastercard withdrawals have failed, while my ICICI account only has a Visa debit card.

Currently, the withdrawal is not working with my ICICI Visa card. Is it possible that the card may work again next week, or could it be permanently unavailable for withdrawals?

I have also checked that international transactions are enabled on my card. Please let me know if you have seen this issue before with ICICI Visa cards.

I believe it may work again. Keep trying. As far as i know its problem from Bank side because i tried same way and other card worked flawlessly.

Which is your primary card ICICI Visa card or HDFC Visa card?
