Hi guys, I've created my first ever EA.

I saw the red color message about bad description. Can anyone give me some advise how to fix it and tips for boost the ranking?

Actually it was youir second EA and was a variation of your first, so it was deleted.

The Seller shall not publish multiple copies of Products, which are based on the same idea and differ only in input parameter settings, symbols, and/or timeframes. Creation of similar Products having slightly changed descriptions and/or design shall be considered as spam and lead to the removal of all detected copies from the Market showcase, while the Seller shall be banned from all paid MQL5.com services.

What should NOT be inside an MQL5 EA description:

Do not use exaggerated profit claims like “guaranteed profit”, “no risk”, “never loses”, “100% safe”, “holy grail”, or “make money every day”. No EA can guarantee profit, and this makes the product look unserious.

Do not write flashy or aggressive marketing titles like “BEST EA EVER”, “INSANE PROFIT MACHINE”, “BECOME RICH FAST”, or anything that looks like cheap hype. MQL does not like flashy, intrusive, or annoying descriptions.

Do not hide the real strategy. A buyer should understand what the EA basically does: breakout, scalping, grid, martingale, trend following, mean reversion, news trading, etc. If the description is only marketing text and no real explanation, it looks bad.

Do not use fake safety language. If the EA uses risk, say it clearly. Do not write “low risk” if the EA can still take large losses. Better explain the risk model, stop loss, drawdown logic, max exposure, and recommended balance.

Do not attack other sellers or other products inside the description. The description should sell your product, not start drama.

Do not fill the description with screenshots, emojis, caps lock, huge empty spaces, repeated slogans, or spammy formatting. It should be clean, readable, and professional.

Do not promise specific future results based only on backtests. Backtests are useful, but they are not a guarantee. Always make clear that market conditions can change.

Do not write unclear setup instructions. If the EA needs a specific symbol, timeframe, VPS, spread, broker type, or minimum balance, explain it directly.

Do not make the buyer feel stupid. The description should be simple enough that a serious buyer understands the product before buying.

A good MQL EA description should be honest, clean, structured, and specific: what the EA does, which market it trades, how risk is handled, which settings matter, what the recommended setup is, and what the limitations are.
