I need this data for manual chart analysis and drawing, not for running backtests or EAs. Right now, my terminal only shows recent bars. I've already changed the "Max bars in chart" option to "Unlimited" in the settings, but the older bars still don't show up when I scroll back.
Is there a standard way to force MT5 to request and load these past 5 years of history directly from the broker's server for visual analysis, without having to buy third-party data?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
