MetaTrader 5 Platform Update Build 5800: Redesigned Trading Dialog and Improved Operations with CSV in MetaEditor - page 3

whoever approved the change to the trading dialogue should have their head examined.

Why change the style of that window that is not consistent with the styles of any other page in mt4 or mt5!

dont get me wrong, i think it needed a fix to it since the invention of mt5, I think it should have always been styled in tabs, just like the rest of mt4/5.

BUT NOOOO! they styled it with a drop down menu and now links on the right side of that window. stupid and continuing the unprofessional and inconsistent look/style.

Please watch your language.

By the way I don't understand anything to your critic. What is the problem exactly ?

i thought my problem was described clearly: the change of the "trading dialogue"; ie the box that you select your trade type: market or pending; and lotsize, price etc. Why move those 3 trade types on the left side? where else in the platform is that style used? It will only confuse me and users trying to find those options.

;

EDIT: oops; i mentioned these options in the previous commend were on the "left side". my bad.

Ok I understand your concern but it's how they decided to design it. Some people will like it, some others will not. I am afraid you will have to deal with it.

I too noticed that. To me, the fact that the New Order window theme no longer matches the overall theme of MT5 is a harbinger of what all of MT5 will look like in the future. I can't imagine that MT5 will be left in an aesthetically inconsistent condition for long.

As long as MT5 isn't loaded up with irremovable objects that are irrelevant to algorithmic trading, I guess that I don't really mind. MQL5 code will still be MQL5 code─and that's what handles my trading.

At the end of the day, I suppose that I have to realize that newer and/or younger traders have different expectations as to what they see upon opening MT5.
