MT5 performing poorly after the update - page 2

Anyone having problem with this new update and magic keys ? MT5 lags really bad after attaching magic keys on the chart. And removing magic keys does not fix the problem. Only applying new chart seems to be stable.

This 5570 build keeps crashing. It seems something to do with the objects added to the chart. Any idea to fix this? There are no errors though.

EDIT: Downgrading to 5430 build fixed the problem. It has something to do with the objects for sure but still figuring out how to fix it


Any instructions how to downgrade ? Did download the 5430 build, but dont know where to install files.

Crashing (MT5 closed itself) or "freezing" with GUI not responding ?
I received build 5570 earlier today and then shortly after build 5571. Was this meant to fix the current problems with 5570? There's no change I can see, still get random freezes to terminal and editor - yes the editor is affected too.

Yes, I'm having the same problem with magic keys, and others, generally everything lags badly after the new update, for instance stretching the chart (with the mouse down and up (on M1 it cannot be stretched at all), and the colors are messed up. Switching chart windows lags a lot..  Also on new 5572, the same issues.

Last official release build is 5572.

You can try to force it through the Help Menu -> Check for Updates.

You need to provide technical details if you wish to report a bug. Your messages are too vague for us to be able to make any use of them.

So please give more details about "magic keys" issue, colors messed up.

 
After updating MT5, it freezes when I try to launch it and does not start properly.
How can I roll back to a previous version?
The market reopens tomorrow, and I’m unable to do anything right now.

luckly i did backup my terminal everytime i upgrade my EA , i have the same problem like you and i found there is some issue about text / text font shown on the chart (if have), which will cause extreme freezes

After MT5 was updated to version 5570, it became so laggy that it was unusable, with memory usage exceeding 3GB (it was only a few hundred megabytes before the update).
It’s still laggy after updating to version 5572 today—there’s a significant delay when dragging charts or clicking on menus, making trading completely impossible in this state.
