To obtain information about the current account there are several functions: AccountInfoInteger() , AccountInfoDouble() and AccountInfoString() ...

Your broker is always first point of contact, however, your web portal is usually a unique id and password to mt5 and normally a separate account. Either way, contact your broker for broker assistance. There is threads on this site with pretty pictures with steps to do as you ask; however, the broker will probably respond faster to your request than me finding you the link for that thread.

configured what? mt5? setup is unique for each account. You download the setup file from your broker first. This has half of the setup/configuration settings already included during the program setup. You then create a new account with your broker. You then get your trading account details from same broker which you then put in mt5 when prompted after you have clicked in file menu and Login to Trading account.

You can always search this site. at top of every page on this website is search feature. and on left click the documents link to limit search to mql online documents. This will have images and clear instructions (most of time).

But as i said -- if you are using account id of a mt5 "web portal". These are probably different account. mt5 account is not normally called by this term.

i was referring live account web portal working. not mt5.

same credentials not working. instead of email id. asking for account number.

both failed in mt5 configuration to account server.

Contact your broker's support. These are different accounts, so the login and password will be different.

I understand that you may mention your broker for context, but I would ask you not to promote or highlight it, because it usually does not contribute anything and is considered indirect advertising.

I also see confusion with the accounts. The broker's web portal login (email/password) does not work for MT5. MT5 uses a trading account with an account number, trading password and server. The MQL5.com account is different and is only used for the forum, market, signals, etc.

So, if you want to log in to the terminal, you need your trading account details. If you don't have them, ask your broker for them (account number, trading password and correct server).
