download the files of 5430 that is above, and then close mt5, go to the folder where the mt5 is installed, and copy the files that you downloaded, and then copy them over top of the bad files. This will copy over and replace the bad files, now open mt5, and check in help menu for the version number. check that you now have 5430.

I am having similar troubles, but can't seem to even backtest on a stock example EA using platform / broker data.  

The error i  keep getting is something like: Agent-127.0.0.1-3000\..\bases\Darwinex-Demo\history\EURUSD\2019.hcs open error [3].
