No access to the mql5.com domain

For unknown reasons I have to (normal) access to the mql5.com domain. This results in a 403 error.

I'm not aware of any wrongdoing on my part, such as scamming, spamming or mass downloading.

Things I've tried: clearing cookies/cache, using multiple browsers/devices, changing my dns settings and contacting Metaquotes support (no reply). I wasn't able to change my IP address.

What else can I do to resolve this issue? For security reasons I don't share my IP address on a public forum, but I have shared this with Metaquotes support.

It may be a lot of reason of this 403 error. So, I can provide some infirmation so you will be able to select your reason for possible fixing, for example:

Many traders are using MQL5 VPS , and this VPS is having a lot of advantadges, for example - the traders do not lose activations when they  migrate/synhronize their MT4/MT5 environment to MQL5

Thank you for your response, Sergey. Yes, I understand that there are multiple possible reasons. I don't use a VPS or the Market place and I also don't use the community login within Metatrader.

I realize that I'm not the only one with this issue, but I've never received a warning or explanation from Metaquotes, so I have no clue what is going on.

I had the same problem yesterday with IMDB. It was a cloud flare issue.

My issue is already going on for +3 weeks.

In case that the MQL5 domain is hosted as well Cloudflare, I have no issues with IMDB or any other web sites.

You may have already identified the crux of the problem--your IP address.

If your modem is set to use a dynamic IP address, then it's possible that your ISP randomly assigned a former IP address of some other wrongdoer (or there was some other wrongdoer on your local network),

No customer can set a specific IP address. What you're looking for in your modem's advanced settings is your IP address lease expiration term. If you can find that setting, reset it to 5 minutes and then turn off your modem for 6 minutes. Upon powering up, you would have a new randomly assigned IP address.

Some ISP's don't allow their customers to access IP address lease settings. In this case, you need to contact your ISP and request reassignment.

Interesting poins, Ryan. I've found the DHCP lease times in my router config, so I've turned off my modem for 5 minutes longer, but my IPv4 address remains the same. I will contact my ISP about this. Thank you for your explanation.

You're welcome.

If you're using a wireless device, wireless devices tend to have different IP addresses than Ethernet devices. It's possible that a wireless device can be assigned the same IP address after making changes in a modem-router. A temporary Ethernet connection can be used to test this, and then maybe you can clear your wireless device IP address and reconnect wirelessly.
