folks,
it's a big pain navigating between charts and editing indicators (add, remove, change color, change time frame....etc) in mt5....so i was wondering if anyone managed to hotkey important charting and trading functions using autohotkey and elgato steam deck ?
i was thinking it might be possible to create a "modal EA" that would have several modes (trading mode : for handling trade related functions, charting mode: for the indicator stuff....etc) and corresponding custom key groups on the steam deck that would change according to the state of the EA...so if the EA is set in the "trading mode"...the steam deck would show the "trading" key group.
but i am not sure how(or whether it's possible) to get the steam deck read stuff from MT5. Autohotkey comes to mind...but again...i don't know if it can be used to read inputs from multiple charts with multiple EAs.
if anyone done this sort of thing before...pls pithc in.
thx
There are many indicators and scripts on codebase that has hotkeys for most of the functions you describe. Ask in Freelance. I am sure that someone there would be keen to do it for an abnormal OS.
