Doubt about Job on Freelance Section.

Hello, good afternoon!
I would like to know if is possible to change the selected developer for the current job. In case anything goes wrong could I have access to the previous candidates?

Thanks a lot!

No. You have an electronic contract with a specific developer if you have already agreed to the current job.

If you want to post a new job, there is nothing preventing that.

I mean, before the Specification Requirements, before signing the contract...
In the part that we chat with all the applicants and move them from Unprocessed to Candidates. Then later Candidates to Selected.
I have 3 very good  candidates and in the case that something does not goes right with the selected, I wouldn't like to lose the other ones.

In this case, how it works, please?

Thanks for the oportunity to clarify better.

Thank you for clarifying.

Upon further research, the word, "selected," appears to be a term-of-art in the Freelance Rules. Rule II(4) states that:

  • "Only one Developer can be selected for each Order."

Alright. Just to adjust my comprehension about it, please.
Once someone is moved to "Selected" isn't possible to undo this process? Before sign the contract he has to read the Specification, right?
Let's say that something went wrong with the guy that's reading my Full Especification Requirements and we decide to not proceed.
To conclude, I would have to open a new Job? All the other candidates would be gone?

Thanks one more time.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Again, "selected" is a term-of-art in the rules that precedes the contract.

You're welcome.
