VPS Question

I've been running an MT5 at home and at work using the same account     I thought that getting a VPS and loading the charts and EAs on there would be a central spot -  so i could update settings on say USDCAD EA - change the lot size or take or entry point or what ever and life would be grand   i could do work at home,  upload, come to work  finish and upload -

WHAT Really seems to happen  is  I have 5 pair i work with,  I get get 3 optimized at home before coming to work and sync - i think its term is MIGRATE in the app.    those 3 pair are now live on the VPS -    Drive into work,  Optimize the other 2 pair  Migrate/sync  and VOILA   instead of 5 pair on the VPS  the first 3 are gone and last 2 are there.

Any way to change this behavior?   I had seriously considered renting a windows platform in the google cloud and running the MT5 from there but thought  this would be simpler and work better

A migration, will override any previous migration. They do not merge.

If you want to do it from two locations (home and office), then copy your "home" EA settings over to the "office" setup, before you migrating again.

You can do this simply by "Saving" your EA settings at home, and then "Loading" them at your office setup.
