Can I trade mini dollar (WDO) with a take profit of only 2 ticks with a limited entry in the book (some correct one does not allow it? I have never traded on a real account, only demo)?

I know this is possible on demo accounts, but on real accounts? Anyone who operates with this strategy on a real account?

That depends on the contract specifications and available liquidity. That question should be directed at your broker, not necessarily here.

EDIT: If this is about Brazilian broker specific assets, then it will probably be better to ask in the Portuguese forum, where other Brazilian traders can offer a more informed answer.

Yes it's possible.

Yes, it's possible. I have already created and used a strategy like that. The problem is that when we try to scalp, our stop loss also needs to be tight.

Your strategy in a demo account will show very good results, but when you run it in a real account, you'll see that the outcome is quite different. Instead of profit, you will likely face losses. The main factor that will hurt you is the order queue. When you place a limit order, the price might hit your "target" price several times without executing your order, because you are at the end of the queue.

Now, when you consider using a limit order to enter and another limit order to exit, it doubles the chances of something going wrong. I believe you are testing with a Netting-type account, where you enter and exit trades with limit orders. If you use take profit, which is basically a market order, the spread will be at least those 2 ticks, sometimes even more.

In summary, if you want to see for yourself, run both a demo account and a real account simultaneously and observe the difference. Don't let the robot run all day long because you will lose money.

just as long as you realize the spread can sometimes be floating and 2 ticks of profit might even be difficult sometimes unless your trading system is valid

Why don't you:

1. Try to experiment on the live account with micro lots

or

2. Automate the system and try the "real ticks" model in backtest to see an outcome of the results
