Discussing the article: "Creating a Trading Administrator Panel in MQL5 (Part VIII): Analytics Panel"
Hey, my good friend!
In Part III of the series, we extended the Dialog Class to include theme management features. To resolve the errors you're encountering, simply download the extended files and copy them to the appropriate location:
- Navigate to the Controls folder within the Include directory under the MQL5 folder, accessible via MetaEditor 5. ( ...\MQL5\Include\Controls)
- Overwrite the existing files with the new extended files.
Once you've done this, try to compile again. The errors should be resolved. If you encounter any further errors, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Today, we delve into incorporating useful trading metrics within a specialized window integrated into the Admin Panel EA. This discussion focuses on the implementation of MQL5 to develop an Analytics Panel and highlights the value of the data it provides to trading administrators. The impact is largely educational, as valuable lessons are drawn from the development process, benefiting both upcoming and experienced developers. This feature demonstrates the limitless opportunities this development series offers in equipping trade managers with advanced software tools. Additionally, we'll explore the implementation of the PieChart and ChartCanvas classes as part of the continued expansion of the Trading Administrator panel’s capabilities.
The Analytics Panel will be a dynamic and interactive interface designed to provide visual insights into trading performance and activity distribution. For today's discussion, this panel features two primary pie charts: the Win vs. Loss Pie Chart, which illustrates the proportion of winning and losing trades, and the Trade Type Distribution Chart, which categorizes trades into Forex, Stocks, and Futures. These charts are seamlessly integrated into the panel, offering a clean and intuitive layout for easy interpretation. By leveraging real-time data from the trading history, the Analytics Panel delivers a comprehensive snapshot of trading outcomes, enabling users to gauge trade performance.
