...Besides, as I told - the connection of Metatrader to the broker's server is very important (it is necessary to have this connection).
You should fix it (connection) ...

It’s the 15inch M2 2023If not so - use Windows computer.
For example - I do not have Mac computer so I can not plactically help about what to change inside macOS or in firewall for good internet connection between patform and the broker's server.

Firstly moderators are experienced normal users like you and not MQL5.com employees, so you are not their customer, they are only trying to help you.
Secondly download the Mac MT5 terminal from your broker's website, install it and use it to login into your broker trading account.
Then go to the MT5 >> View >> Symbols to enable the symbols you want.
XAUUSD is not the same in all broker, in some brokers is GOLD, in others may have some suffix etc.
So if you are trying to open a XAUUSD chart in a broker that has the GOLD symbol, it will simply not work.

The “mods of this platform” do not have customers. We are users just like you.
So does it have to do with the macOS??
i only asked the question because someone who has a mac will need to know that information. Information that you did not provide automaticly.
