Inability to enable 2FA on the official MetaTrader 5 app

Issue

1. In Windows 11 failed to find the 2FA option
2. In Android devices, multiple devices can serve as OTP generaters

Windows 11

The official MetaTrader 5 documentation (https://www.metatrader5.com/en/terminal/help/start_advanced/otp)
outlines the following steps for enabling 2FA:

 1. Connect to your account as usual.
 2. Click "Enable 2FA/TOTP" in the account menu under the "Navigator."

However, when I log into the MT5 app on Windows, I do not see the "Enable 2FA/TOTP" option in the "Navigator"
as described. Based on discussions in the MetaTrader 5 forum (https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/443334), this

issue may arise when the trading server does not support the 2FA feature.

I contacted my brokerage, but which ended up with providing the opposite opinion:

"We would like to clarify that the 2FA feature within StarTrader is platform-specific and
does not integrate with the official MetaTrader 5 app. The 2FA settings and behavior on
the official MT5 app are managed entirely by MetaQuotes, the company behind MetaTrader 5.

Based on the concerns you raised, we recommend that you contact MetaQuotes' support team
directly for assistance. They are best positioned to clarify discrepancies in 2FA functionality,
such as missing options in the "Navigator" or inconsistent OTP behavior on Android devices."

Android Devices

- Designating one Android device as an OTP generator does not prompt the app to request an OTP password for subsequent login attempts.

- Multiple Android devices can be designated as OTP generators, which undermines the intended security of the OTP functionality.

Summary

In both platforms, 2FA is not functioning as intended.
