Backtesting EA from marketplace not possible on MT4

When I run backtests on Scalper Dragon on MT4, I cannot get results older than a few days or weeks for all the major pairs. Any idea why? How can I backtest the strategy for longer periods of time? Thanks.

The issue you're encountering is likely caused by *insufficient historical data* in your MT4 terminal. By default, MT4 does not automatically download extensive historical data unless you manually retrieve it.
