Latest update om MAC OS now is not working

 

I am writing to bring to your attention critical issues I have encountered after updating my MT5 software on macOS this week.

After the update, a new instance named "Wine64" has appeared, and it seems to create a hidden virtual drive and a Windows-emulated environment during operation. This change has introduced the following challenges:

  • Unable to Copy and Paste EAs: I can no longer copy and paste updates for my Expert Advisors (EAs) into the relevant folder. so i no longer can use any EA.

Many users, myself included, have found running MT5 on macOS to be tricky due to compatibility issues. One solution that works well is using Windows via Parallels Desktop on your Mac. This setup tends to be stable, allowing you to focus on your EAs without worrying about hidden virtual drives or other "critical" issues.
