Hi, fellow coders,

I just experienced something quiet unusual with the calendar.

A news was released, but the calendar didn't display the actual value for at least 7mn, i had to close MT5 and re-open it for the news actual value to show up.
Even thought the news was already available on MQL website shortly after release.

So my question is why did my MT5 calendar didn't this ?
Is it a bug ? Is it possible that the issue comes from the broker ?

Calendar data comes from MetaQuotes, not your broker. Sync issues can occur due to insufficient memory, unstable internet and other factors. Restarting usually fixes it.

3. Local Internet Connectivity
   - A temporary slowdown or disruption in your internet connection could have caused the platform to fail to retrieve updated calendar data in real time.

but Sir Medviediecv stated that the news came from MetaQuotes and not the broker, so who is right ?

Okay Sir, and is this api handle by the broker or metaquotes ?

 
1. Check Broker Settings: Confirm with your broker that they provide real-time economic calendar updates. Not all brokers enable this feature or maintain high update frequencies.

2. Test Another Broker or Demo Account: Load MT5 with a demo account from another broker to see if the issue persists.

I believe the  API is managed by **MetaQuotes**, but its availability in MT5 depends on the **broker's settings**.
