mql5.com OAuth issue: User endpoint returns 400

I have used the mql5.com OAuth authentication for years, but all of a sudden the user endpoint (https://www.mql5.com/api/oauth/user_info) returns the status code 400.

I still successfully receive the tokens from https://www.mql5.com/api/oauth/access_token, but I just can't receive the user_info anymore :(

Anyone an idea if there was a change in the authorization process?

I doubt you will get much help, here in the forum. You will probably have to reach out to the Service Desk.

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately I can't get past the "virtual MQL5.com assistant". Any tips to contact a human directly?

For account related issues — Contacts and requests >> Create a request >> Account >> Ask a Question >> write your message

Seems they have changed the Service Desk procedure and the previous steps no longer work.

EDIT: It seems they have now made it virtually impossible to be able to leave a personalised message.

How utterly ridiculous! I can see now why so many users are complaining about the service desk.

As I know (from the reply of the service desk): they (the service desk) have removed 'Account \ Ask a question' node from the chat bot, which allowed to create tickets. It was done because most users simply ignored all the other subjects in the chat and proceeded with creating tickets right away.


Users are still able to contact service desk from the chat, but that function is available for specific subjects only. They need to choose properly.

It is what they (service desk) replied about how to contact with them -

Users are still able to contact service desk from the chat, but that function is available for specific subjects only. They need to choose properly.
We've added ~50 new subjects to the chat bot to cover most of the popular questions and problems.

There were errors in the /api/oauth/user_info request. The problems have now been resolved.
