Well, to be honest, that can´t be part of the problem from my point of view.
In Germany we say: "If you dont go with the time, you´ll go with the time."
There a thousends of paid institutions, funds and so on using the Metaqutes infrastructure and rolling them out to millions of users worldwide. Have a look at TradingView for example. I mean, at first it was a "simple" online platform for charts and they provided also a library for enterprise customers, to implement that into their platforms. Within 2 years or so it gained so much customers, thats incredible! They have a modern look, native apps for all platforms and so on. I bet Metaquotes has a ton of very good developers. And from a professional point of view i think, a platform based on C++ like Metatrader has the perfect ability to boost their business model with developing cutting edge software!
Have a look at Qt IDE https://www.qt.io
Supported platforms: https://www.qt.io/product/supported-platforms-languages
And i dont think it is a budget problem. Just my two cents...

I like Meta Trader and I dont like Tradingview. Many like MT4 still and prefer it.

Hi,
i just have a basic question: Do Metaquotes plan to revise the appearance (look and fell, you can call it UI for example) of the Metatrader platform? I mean, it feels like working with an Windows 98 Version of a piece of software.
Have you ever thought about programming with Qt, so you can deliver a multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) application?
I would love to see a native version of Metatrader within Linux for example.
Best regards,
Ralph
