The settings only apply when the EA is added to the chart (initial or on terminal restart). The code can do whatever it wants after that; use them, ignore them, update and save them, etc.
If you have a mql5 source of your EA and you are sure about it by checking every line of code to confirm there is no self optimization codes which may change input settings of EA
then it means you need to troubleshoot your EA next time and you may also attach the results along with LOG here so someone may look and give you more reasonable answer .
When you put your EA and enable auto trading, make sure to take a screenshot of settings, when you notice EA setting changed take a screenshot of what is changed and check the Logs and you may find some more info to investigate
Mention properly everything such as if its used in VPS or your personal computer and other info of MT5 builds.
Once you post all the reports, it can be easy to find what is causing EA setting change and may confirm its not a paranormal activity
Well, I do feel like my code is been Modify. Because I have save files from my BT & when I, got work I had different setting & coding was changed a bit. That I never had from the start, also my strategy was on incline in wins before I had left home for work, & then was a downhill when i got there. My win ratio for L&S entries was both over 72% before. So that's why I asked.
You've asked your question and been given an answer that the brokers DO NOT have access to your terminal and/or source code, you don't like the answer but you need to accept it and move on, there are more holes in your account than you care to acknowledge:
a) you say the code had been modified - not possible by the broker and you would be able to see the timestamp on the ex5 file, but you have not checked it, nor shown us what code has been changed.
b) you say settings changed, but there is no evidence of it other than you believe it.
c) you quote a previously winning strategy and many trades as proof, markets change all the time and so one minute something works the next it doesn't it does not mean your code has been altered.
Now ask yourself honestly, if a broker could alter your code (which they can't) why would they bother? they are dealing with 1000s maybe 10000s of clients and their orders, they don't care what you do and certainly wouldn't bother trying to alter somebodys code when they are only trading maybe 0.000000001% of the brokers volume... there would be no point, and if they wanted to mess with your trades they can simply do that with by messing with the execution on their server side.... further more they get paid by transacting, if you are not trading they are making no money from you.....
If you are worried about your broker, make sure you have chosen a large, well regulated one in your own country for maximum peace of mind, stay away from the crazy small brokers that may wish to trade against you.
so accept that they have not and cannot, alter your code and that there is no benefit to them to do so even if they could
