With all due respect to both MetaQuotes and Apple - Metatrader on Mac is a hassle at the moment.
Get Windows.
Add an account via the Open an Account window. Search for a broker and add or open an account. Do not use the account login window to add an account, in this case, a new search for broker proxy servers does not occur.
Mt5 and Mt4 are compatible with M3 and M4.
Hello,
I use MT4 and MT5 on my MacBook Pro with M3. MT4 works fine, but in MT5 I can't add an account. Every time I try it, it doesn't connect. I tried it on another MacBook also with M3 and it also don't work. The account is possible to add on MT5 on my older Macbook and on my phone, so it's not the account. Is there a problem with M3 and MT5? Is there a workaround?
Try whisky(getwhisky) , this is the only way for my M1, maybe it will help you
This is incorrect information. In Whisky you will have Wine 7.7 and everything that uses Webview2 will not work correctly.
If you do not want to use the Metaquotes build, you can achieve the full functionality of the terminal using Crossover or Heroic.

I'm on M1 and I approve of this method. However, I think Mac is not able to connect to servers that are exclusively to the broker website's MT4 and MT5, like some overseas demo servers.
