When backtesting a system that uses the information of two or more currency pairs, for example - putting an EA on the EUR/USD 30 min chart, and having it also read information from the USD/CHF - the backtester is way off. The reason for this is that when backtesting a system on the EUR/USD that uses info from the USDCHF, the backtester goes by the close of the bar on the USD/CHf. Consequently, I can make a system that backtests nearly perfectly given the inverse correlation of the EUR/USD and the USD/CHF. Any plans to fix it so that the backtester will look at each tic for each currency pair listed in an EA, and not just the pair the test is being ran on?
Thank very much, guys, and keep up the good work.
