Hmm, maybe you can't since it needs SSL/TLS for the connection. Forget I said that as it needs more refinements made to Metatrader to work.

If google's SSL doesn't work out, you can buy a Yahoo Mail Plus account that has POP access for $20/year.

But honestly, if you have internet access you should have access to an SMTP server through your provider. You can still have the mail delivered to your hotmail account, but use your ISP's SMTP server.
