MQL5 Chatbot EA and Code Creator.

Hello MQL5 World,

We all know of ChatGPT by OpenAI as well as other Chatbot ai services that can develop MQL4 and MQL5 code, however it is not absolutely perfect.

My question is does the MQL5 community think that metaquotes should create a version of an AI chatbot that can exclusively and correctly create and develop EA's, Indicators, Scripts and other trading codes with correct syntax?

This can allow the average user who does not know or understand how to code in MQL4 or MQL5 programming language, but has a sound strategy they would like created for a cost determined by metaquotes per line of code produced in the creation of the end users projects.

Metaquotes can charge users for use of their ai chatbot service instead of customers going to the freelancers tab asking inexperienced coders to write and develop code that is not complete or have sound logic in the strategy the customer was presenting to the freelancer. 

Metaquotes can dictate if the cost of the MQL4/MQL5 ai chatbot service is a monthly based fee structure of cost by line of code.

Just a thought for the future of Metaquotes since we are now in the age of AI.

NO! NO! NO! Hell NO! Please NEVER, NO! 😡😠 Do you know how much we suffer trying to then "educate" such users of how to fix or modify the results?

MetaEditor already has a code generator called "MQL5 Wizard". Have you ever tried using it?

Then just pay a skilled human coder to do it properly instead of a AI bot.
 

That is an interesting idea , however we must consider the company's side too .

Their main income stream is brokers .

Then theres the market (20% on sales) then freelance projects (10% of value)

If they develop this , its cost would have to compensate for whatever loss results on the above 2 commission streams given users will prefer to use the "superior auto-code generator" to a ready made market product or the code of someone hired.

They could benefit only if :

  • it works
  • its better than coders and other ai generators
  • it brings more users to use it than the ones lost from the other 2 streams of income (that would allow it to be cheaper as well)

That is not infuriating that as much as them not feeding the correct answer back to chatGPT.

Who makes you hire inexperienced coders? What prevents you from hiring an experienced programmer?

yeah , their resource would be better in ML / web3 ,and the social aspect of the industry which they are completely oblivious to and will be one of the things that blindsides them . probably

Already I made 5 indicators for myself and they work very well! It is a great program. Doesn't cost me any!!!!

Fact: The cat is already out of the bag and if Metaquotes does not develop a coding AI someone else will and then Metaquotes loses that potential income stream.

There is no point in acting like luddites or being an ostrich with its head buried in the sand think all is safe whilst the wolves hover in the near distance.
