How to add phone number

I am trying to add my phone number to my account but it tells me the phone number already exists, I made sure to delete my old account. 

With the old account now deleted it still tells me the phone number already exists. What can be done about this?

I have been also try to fix my phone number in other to be partaken of a saller but what ever I did in formation on my profile setting, it's always asking me to enter my password  and when I enter my password it's always denied...In fact I don't know what to do again.
