Greetings, the exact same thing happened to me today. When I go to service desk, I just get an AI chat bot. I imagine things have changed since your post in how they deal with support but I've not found a SINGLE way to contact a human yet.

I did find the AI chat bot mentioned in that forum thread, but I could not find my way through the tree of answers to something that resembled my issue (lost device, not receiving OPT, etc.)

I understand that it is not simple to do for the first time but you can try ... many people are contacting, and the AI bot creates the tickets for them to the service desk. And explain it to the service desk in simple but short way (and mention your main username for example).
Find something as "Account" as a category, and select subcategory, and so on, and finally - you will be asked to explain your issue (it means: AI bot will create a ticket to the service desk).
