Metatrader 4 (Roboxforex) All Accounts Copying the Same Settings. Cannot do anything.

Hi All.

I have Metatrader 4 running on a VPS via Roboforex.

I have 4 accounts for different strategies.

When I sign out of one and into another, the same settings apply and are copied across even though I have signed out of the other account.

For example

1) If I put a chart up on 1 account and sign out into my next account, the chart will be up there too.

2) If I turn off automatic trading, it will copy through to all accounts when I sign in so I cant operate independently.

3) If I run a robot on 1 chart in 1 account, when I log into another account, the robot will then take over and start adding positions from the other account?

Roboforex said they could not help as it is not their software.

Please can someone tell me if I am missing something?

This is massively affecting my trading set up and ability to make progress.

Many thanks

Andrew

Did you install each terminal in a separate folder?

No I have the 4 accounts added within the one Roboxforex Metatrader 4 Download / Application.
I don't see how it is possible to copy the application.

I have downloaded the Terminal also but that doesn't seem user friendly for the experts as the settings seem much better in the Metatrader 4 application.

You can use one terminal to replicate all 4 accounts to your VPS, but only if you know what you are doing properly and you are very careful about it. It is not recommended for beginners.

Instead, you should have one terminal setup for each account. You can do this by installing 3 extra times, from your brokers install file, to a different install directory.

Another options is simply to copy the setup to other directories manually and simply use "portable" mode. This is the way I do it. I only use "portable" mode.

After installation has been completed, a group of Client Terminal programs will be created in the "Start" menu, and the program shortcut...
