Sharpe - never really took it, the profit factor seems to me to be a more significant value.

Well, to put it simply, the sharpe characterises the 'flatness' of the trade. I.e. if you have small profits and small losses, and then all of a sudden you get big profits, the sharpening will be low.
My sharpening is low too. The recent spike in profits has lowered this figure, it's not a smooth trade.
