All the gold mined by humanity would fit into a cube with an edge of about 17m
From that article:
A large modern gold mine is comparable to a medium-sized or even larger plant in terms of capital costs, number of employees and production costs. Indeed, in South Africa the construction of a mine may well now cost $400-500 million, the number of employees may be 15-20,000, the annual gross production is 30-40 g of metal, which now means $500 million or even more
It sounds like nonsense to me.From that article:
Tonne, an oversight.
Tonne, an oversight.
10 tonnes is about $500m and here 30-40, the difference cannot be written off on logistics, it is too big
She'll chew bits off of it.
I am indifferent to gold. And I won't ruin my teeth on that disgusting thing.)
I like diamonds better.

That's what everyone says at the beginning.
And I say at the end.
And I say at the end.
When a girl says at the end that she's indifferent to gold it's wonderful. Respect.
And I say at the end.
I think it's time to stop with the ends.
Market efficiency is quite different from machine efficiency.
I'm not so good with formulas here too, but the impression is that this term was invented for investors / traders who are not too friendly with mathematics. Just to make it clearer for them.
There are three degrees of efficiency - weak, medium, strong. They all assert the impossibility of sustained profitable trading under different information constraints.
Probably efficiency is strictly defined through martingale, but I'm not sure. Yes, in fact, price as a martingale on this or that information set is precisely what determines this degree of efficiency.
Well, look here, Oleg. It is difficult to formalize information sets.
As long as the fat tail ends are alive - it will be possible to trade profitably in the markets. Including sustainably.
And they always will be.
