the goal is profit - or is it not?

and the profit is more than 50% for the week ...

and the rest is nothing ...

No, you don't. You can make the same profit with different degrees of risk.

You run the risk of a series of losses that will wipe out the deposit at one point.

Very interesting. How do you estimate the sharpe ratio in 2 words? And what values does it reach when it is bad, when it is good?

Is that what your systematic approach is all about?

The market doesn't care who cries or says what. You have to be prepared for any situation. And so far, you're so ready that your average profitable trade is 10 times less than your average losing trade. And you trade in the noise on the minutes. There are no clear trends, that's what noise is.

"p.s. don't think you're the smartest, it looks stupid..."

I decided to test the following tactic: we bet $100 on the account, we withdraw $100 when the depo doubles, and we bet $100 again when we lose. That is, we have a 100% profit or 100% loss. How to check will be

I did not want to see more losses or withdrawals of profits. For this I have defined initial capital of $1000, from which I will replenish depo. It turns out that I put 10% of total capital on deposit. When I win I get

10%; I lose the same amount if I lose. Suppose the first entry was successful, then betting on the account not 100, but 110, etc. To get the final picture simply need to conduct a test with a depo of $ 1000 and set the advisor to close all positions when reaching 10% of profit or loss. For this I stuck in ilan the Expert Advisor from Kim, which I used in manual trading to close positions.

Somewhere in the back of the thread I posted a function to simulate withdrawals during a tester run. The function works, I've tested it.

Judge all you want - but I like it ...

There is no noise in Forex. At least I think so.

I think that whether there is noise or not is not important at all. If you don't use indicators then there are no more questions about timeframe, re-rating of indicators, loopholes in quotes and so on...

And in general there is some noise for stoplosses. But if we don't use SL and TP, then we don't bother with any problems at all

The shallower the timeframe, the more small lots will mean in it. A tick here - a tick there. That's the kind of "struggle" of small lots that to me is called noise. Small lots can't play a big role over the distance.
