I read the last pages about beetroot and beans, peas, oranges and water purification, light and heavy impurities in ice and I feel like ... MEAT))
Lent is fasting soon, make time for it. Although it's better to do without meat in summer.
I will shoot back to defend myself

A long time ago, when plastic bottles didn't exist yet and samizdat was still around, I also froze water.
A bucket of water on the balcony in winter and a suitably sized pot in summer - in the fridge.
From the information I've managed to dig out, I understood that a "middle" is needed, so I made it easy: the first frozen quarter of the water was taken out, and the last one was emptied. An edible bagel was left.
Tea with such water was especially good for meat/fish/bird salads, with milk.
My city gets its water from the river, upstream in 50 km from the regional centre, with its permanent leaky sewage treatment plants. Used to be relevant. Now, they don't put chlorine in it, they have filters (I mean household), and bottled water is on sale... but it's still not the same.

Alexei, I didn't know anything about that!!! If someone had told me something before it came up... I didn't find out until after. I've always been pro-health, though. No drinking, no smoking, no sports... Only ate shit, as I understand it now.
I've attached my esoteric biography. Might come in handy.
