Oooh, it's so messed up... I don't believe it.

Quitting smoking is easy, I've done it many times)

I used to quit because I knew I had to. It was hard, I never lasted more than a day. Chewing gum, patches, electronic cigarettes, Alain Car, everything went with it.

But lately I've been noticing that they're about to kill me. I got a headache, a cigarette every half hour. It helps to think, you sit there, you think of something, you go to the corridor and have a smoke. Lately it feels like nicotine poisoning, like five cigarettes in a row, nauseating...

I haven't smoked for 24 hours now, everything's fine, I feel better. No cravings at all. When you remember that nauseating feeling... Ugh, gross.

I think this time you're going to quit for a long time, I mean permanently. All the signs are there. Looks like you're ripe for it. And there's no substitute for a Band-Aid, an e-cigarette or any other crutch.

SZS: And that - stop counting how long you don't smoke, it's not helpful - or even harmful. Even though you don't smoke for a while there, you still think about smoking and all that goes with it. You don't have to think about it, that's why you quit. Mark my words-you'll only really quit when you stop thinking about how long you've been sober.

...

I haven't smoked for 24 hours now, it's going great, it's getting easier....

Wait - one week is flying by, on Friday there's a small party with comrades - well, how one can not smoke a little with a chat - one or two cigarettes or treat oneself to a hookah after beer and snacks ... :-)

Wait, Roma, in a week, with the right approach, and Volodya's approach is normal now, he'll get a nasty stink from his fellow smokers, so that it will be unpleasant to stand with them smoking, not to mention smoking himself)

I'm guessing from the old-timers.)

From the old-timers, it seems)

Vladimir, read this and the first (my) post of this thread...

"If you have already developed a pronounced nicotine addiction, irritability, insomnia and difficulty concentrating are both forthcoming. After two or three weeks, it usually gets easier, but you won't feel comfortable for a few months yet.

Specialists consider that an attempt to get rid of nicotine addiction is successful if the person has not smoked continuously for six months."

There - and a smile at the end of the post... ")".

Friday is coming up in a week, and with it the beer and snacks - well, how can you not have a smoke with a chat? :-)

"To decide how best to quit smoking, you need to understand why many smokers find it difficult to do so. The reason is the development of their nicotine addiction. When you smoke, nicotine enters your brain, stimulating special receptors that release dopamine, the so-called pleasure hormone.

On average, after two hours, nicotine levels in the body drop (which is why many smokers smoke every two hours, if not more frequently) - dopamine levels also drop. The smoker feels anxious, less concentrated, irritable and wants to smoke. Depending on the level of nicotine dependence, these effects may be weaker or stronger.

If you smoke every hour and decide to smoke every two hours, you may already feel the urge to smoke and feel uncomfortable after an hour. For a whole hour he tolerates them until he allows himself to smoke again. So every hour for two hours the smoker experiences withdrawal syndrome."

I've been quitting for two days now. I don't have any patience. I'm fine without the hormones, drinking my morning coffee, thinking and eating... I'm really relaxed. I feel like I'm "free". I haven't even thought about it.

I have an ashtray stuffed to the top with spit-up cigarette butts that look like a "dead hedgehog", which makes me want to vomit.

Before the first drink.

You can't drink either.
