I have different information:

Predicted airborne particle transport from Japan

Two predicted three-dimensional trajectories of airborne particles from Japan are plotted.

For trajectory "a"(north) the starting point is about 500 m.

For trajectory "b"(south) the starting point is at an altitude of 5000 m.

Trajectory "b" is likely to develop in the event of a strong explosion, but currently events are developing along trajectory "a".

The trajectories indicate the dates when the particles of air masses from Japan will arrive at the indicated points.

Vertical movement of the particles is indicated by red and purple trajectories.

Red is the downward trajectory and the particle height is decreasing, while purple is the upward trajectory.

The ascending trajectory most likely means possible precipitation containing particles coming from Japan, the descending trajectories indicate possibility of particles sinking to the surface.
