No, it is not a carryover, but three different trend lines. First, the middle one was formed (the moment of its recognition was marked by a thicker line), then the lower one was formed (the moment of its recognition coincided with the breakdown of the uptrend). After the breakdown of the lower, and then the middle trend line, the upper one was formed, and its base point coincided with the base point of the middle (the first detected) trend line. By the way - a typical picture when a flat starts.
Actually, I don't quite understand the context of the question (remark). If you expect to see some unshakable trend line, I have to disappoint you. Integrity in the past and present does not imply continuity in the future. My point is that every trend will be broken, that's what a trend is. It will be broken, not moved, after which it will be replaced by a new trend.
