[WARNING CLOSED] UmnickTrader Adaptive EA - page 8

VictorArt:

So what.

Show us a better result with OOS 9 years - there will be something to talk about, but in the meantime stop trying to sound like a "great professional" - you don't even have that kind of result.

Come on, knock it off already. For all the time you've been brainwashing people on this forum, is it really not clear that no one is going to buy your EA?

Come on, come on. It is a very good Expert Advisor. If it were profitable, it would be of no value.

Come on, stop it already. For so long you have been brainwashing people on this forum, is it really clear that no one is going to buy your Expert Advisor?

I'm not selling it - it is lying in its source code base, it is not hungry :)

Cut the flubbing already. If you can't do any better, get some rest.

The purpose of this thread - to keep activity and interest in the EA as long as possible (if you openly say on this forum about the sale, the thread will be taken down). This expo is sold through different methods, by searching for investors on the account etc.

This forum is only used for advertising purposes. This is the usual hidden advertising, although he doesn't say it openly, but it is.

Every post or comment in this thread lifts the thread to the top of the forum again and fouls up the forum itself with it.
It's not worth getting involved in.

If you want to end its existence then just ignore it and don't post anything here. I think the topicstarter has had more than a month of "quiet time to himself".

What then is for sale on your site? Or is it for those who can't compile themselves? Or is it like this: "the one in the base is the free version, tests from it. Paid one trades better, but how - I will show only for money".

Can't you show me

Who are you to show me? You've posted your test for comments, which you've got and you've been explicitly told that the Expert Advisor that trades that way, be it on a forward or anywhere else, is a total failure. Get over it and write a new one.

Prove that "total fiasco". Mathematically rigorous.

Can't prove mathematically rigorously - prove by example that there are better algorithms - lay out a similar test with the source, so there is no cheating.

Can't prove mathematically rigorously or by example - just keep quiet - you've got the wrong branch.

VictorArt:

Prove the 'total fiasco'. Mathematically rigorous.

And you run it not for 9, but since the end of the first profitable series (i.e. 8 years) - judging by your own graph, you get a mathematically rigorous margin call: you have a drawdown of 18000. So Epic fail.

As komposter correctly pointed out: "Judging by these figures, to get about 4.5K a year ($46340 / 10 years) you need to have a deposit of at least 18.5K".

And I agree with him - a deposit needs to be made with an appropriate margin of safety. You do not have to keep it all in BC - in case of drawdown it is enough to fill it up temporarily.

We can say the following -

The total profit is almost equal to the total loss, winning trades are comparable to losing trades, the biggest profitable trade is equal to the biggest losing trade, the average profitable trade is equal to the average losing trade and so on. And all this at a drawdown of 73%. The Expert Advisor is completely unstable in its work. And if we consider that the modeling quality is 25%, then there is no guarantee, because when the modeling quality reaches 100% (or when you set it on a real account), everything may very dramatically change and the EA will simply lose everything. That's what your BMM shows. ))))
