A warm-up algorithmicproblem:

There is a complete set of integers from x to y, arranged in random order. One number is taken out of it. Need to find this number in one pass, using a constant amount of memory.

And one more -- get the 8th degree of a number using 3 multiplication operators.

ZS, looked through posts and did not find solution (or at least statement of solution) of problem on construction by 2 sides and bisector.

All right, so if you light one side, it burns in a minute. If the other side is also lit, it will burn in half a minute.

The answer is to light it on one and a half sides.

Ответ: нужно поджечь с полутора сторон.
