In fact there is (jokingly) talk of shutting down the CFD trading shop.

Speaking of juice! Very interesting statistics - especially on the JOK3-N3 spread from tomorrow:

Useful information for lovers of currency spread trading. Below are excerpts from the latest seasonal review, written by me at the request of Pantheon-Finance for the publication"The Exchange Leader":

-----------------------

Fans of currency trading will be interested in perspective seasonal buying of March CHFJPY spread of CHFJPY futures contracts, BUY 6SH3 - SELL 6JH3 = 1^1 (or single purchase of CHFJPY currency pair). From February 15 to 22! A graph of the average multi-year seasonal (3-5-10 year) trends is shown in the figure below:

It looks like a very interesting buy! So interesting - that I even plotted a statistical chart of this entry in the analyzed time frame over the past thirteen years! Here it is, this statistic:

All entries over the last 13 years have been profitable. The average profit is 91 points. Interesting numbers, what can I say ...
The current situation of the "currency version" of the analysed entry is shown in the chart below:

It is clear that there is a reason not to enter long positions, but to work short-term (by our seasonal standards) to buy CHFJPY on a pullback. Using the simplest, standard technical analysis (support/resistance lines, channels, reversal figures, customary oscillators, etc.) on small timeframes M30-H4. In addition, we need to take into account the difficult financial realities of European currencies, which are not yet encouraging! The growth of the Swiss Franc may be significantly limited by the weakness of the Euro! We will keep this moment in mind!
Good luck to all!

The XRBK3 gasoline seasonality is not good at all.

Very volatile instrument. From now on energy instruments will trade only spreads. They are very much dependent on politics.

One just has to pray that it bounces off the green

There will be news on natural gas stocks tonight at 19:30 Moscow time:

The calendar spread BUY NGK3 - SELL NGJ3 looks quite promising, and is now down:

If volumes turn out to be lower than previous readings - you can buy the spread and hold it until May 16.

May I ask where the gas quotes for the spread are coming from?

I import quotes from the free websitehttp://www.quandl.com/futures

Sometimes there is some broken data, or a comma in the wrong place, as for example for sugar. But for the most part there is enough data.

Instructions on how to import quotes are described here:https://www.mql5.com/ru/code/10892
