they do connect, but the resources are consumed on the server, not on the local machine

There are minimal resources allocated by default for each terminal connection because it is a server OS after all...

It's all about new memory allocation mechanisms, extra services, etc.

FxPro2:

1. server security should be handled by the hoster

2. Why do you need an antivirus? Are you going to browse the Internet from the server?

3. well, you need a firewall, close all the ports.

4 Why do you need a hoster? buy a netbook or nettop, UPS + a dedicated static IP-address, the cost is literally 12-15 thousand rubles - a year of hosting.

The advantage: very little energy burns, with no battery-provitsitsits half a day + battery on the netbook-provits another couple of hours, on static IP can access from anywhere in the world, + you can make a backup channel with any mobile phone or 3g modem, but all kinds of smart guys not roam on your info on the server

If you really want to surf porn from the server, set up a virtual machine with Windows XP, install anti-viruses, firewalls and other crap on it, and go ahead... After all, if the virtual machine dies, you can restore it in 5 minutes.

Guys VPS is certainly necessary and useful! Who thinks about protection on the server (antivirus, firewall). As far as I understand regular antiviruses don't work there, we need a server one!
These questions from a man who has never dealt with the "subject of conversation" - a serious hoster puts a hardware firewall at the entrance. Don't forget that if you rent a specialized VPS for Forex, some ports will be closed.
I have been using it for about 2 years and I don't have any problems with it at all: http://www.forexvps.com/
True, the support is in English, but around the clock. Unix servers that emulate Windows 2003.

You probably don't know much about it either...

A hardware firewall is as common as a mouse, keyboard or monitor. Most people have one at home (either separately or built into an ADSL modem for example). The difference between corporate and home - in CPU bandwidth, quality (redundancy / fault tolerance)...

Software-based (even if native Windows) fully performs the same functions (if hardware-based fully duplicates).

What is a dedicated Forex? Which ports need to be closed specifically if all ports are closed by default by both hardware and software firewall? This is trivial nonsense and a scam...

There are no Unix servers... There are HP, Intel, SuperMicro etc with Unix operating systems installed.

What is Windows 2003 emulated? Guest operating systems are probably virtualised...

eyewashing... and nosewhetering... :)

The topic is about VPS, so the question would be relevant.

I think it is clear that on VPS is not trading on one account and one brokerage company. I'm not sure how to group data from different terminals that work on one VPS.

I would like to see it as an existing MultiTerminal, but not for one account, but for all accounts at once.

Who or what created it? The principle of operation and method of information exchange is interesting.

Thank you.
