FORTS: Strategies and how to implement them - page 20

papaklass:

This is not nonsense. These are the realities of the forex industry. I thought the mention of ECN accounts would suggest that I was referring to forex, not exchanges.

Need an example, what if you put a limit on FOREX the margin in the terminal will not change?

Read what the topic is called. FOREX is an offtopic here. Do not waste your time.

Renat:
Once again the competent critics who are not aware of the platform, and who do not use it, have pulled up again.

I take it this is the only stone in my path. Time has already told us about the history of tics. Shall we fight over the history of the tumbler?

I don't need it personally, or rather, I have it, and it was implemented a long time ago. But MQL doesn't take part in it, it's losing traders (users) with its product.

I used to worry and fight for making MT5 better, more convenient, more perfect. Now I do not care. You can do what you want with it, because yes indeed I don't use it in trading.

And thank goodness my profit doesn't depend on your decisions, to introduce or not to introduce certain functionality in trading.

Renat:
Hello. There has been a bit of discussion in the thread about pair trading on moex, touching on spot and a bit on options.

You said that very soon it will be possible to trade the stock and options sections via MT5.

Question - will the quotes of all sections be available from the same terminal? It is very important for paired trading strategies.

For example, at the moment you can not get forts and FX data in one terminal.

I think the broker may let them trade with them if the account is in another section, but they may not...

papaklass:

If you are unable to understand what ECN accounts refer to, that is not my problem. The MT5 terminal is designed for both stock and forex trading!

So don't tell me what I should do, I won't tell you where to go.

FORTS is definitely not the place to go.

It could have been a good thread...

But in the end, everyone who had something valuable to say is fighting among themselves, well-wishers are running around, smearing everything incomprehensible, while a drummer cleans up the rest of the constructive.

Well said Andrew about the indicator of degradation. Massiveness rules!

papaklass:

In order to have a substantive discussion, you must first respect your opponent, no matter how you feel about him. You must discuss what he says, not his personality!

My friend, how can you respect people who are trying to spout their thoughts without even understanding the subject? Respect must be earned through knowledge, experience and competence, which most of the people here do not have. Half of those who have spoken here have only seen MOEX on advertising banners, but they have their "valuable" opinion that must be published here. Now I think the heavy machinery of MQ repression in the form of bans and removal of users will only benefit our community. Better less is better.

C-4:
... Fewer is better.

Are you sure that those who stay are really better?

papaklass:

...

This state of affairs is not due to degradation, it's always been that way (at least in all the time I've been on the forum). It's the communication style of a certain contingent. This style has been carried over here from the 4th forum.

My experience tells a slightly different story. There were interesting threads and discussions on the 4th forum. Yes there was stuff, but there was also interesting material and information. With the advent of bans, moderation, discussions only got worse.

Any branch may become good. Any branch. For this it is necessary:

1. discussion only within the framework of the subject.

2. discussion only within the technical and software means available.

3. Prohibition of promotion of competing hardware and software tools.

4. Prohibition of violence, pornography, racial discrimination and sexual harassment.

That's all, nothing more is needed. What difference does it make who respects or despises whom, as long as the discussion is framed by these 4 points?

Of course, statements in every other post by some forum participants, the meaning of which is as follows

"... How much has been broken on the subject of tics, in the end I was right, and Renat is now biting his elbows that he did not listen to me at the time...".

"... MQLs are crap to say the least, sharp and cuskalp tools are hard to use, come to my place, I'll show you everything..."

"...it's been a long time since I've used MT and I only hang out here because I like to open people's eyes..."

"...the moderation here is horrible, cool guys like me are harassed, they hide scary information from the public, and I know everything and won't let all the machinations of imperialism ruin people's healthy attraction to the glass and tick data!!!"

and so on in the same vein leave some indifferent and others fiercely indignant, like me. Why should I bother writing about something I'm not interested in? - I am interested in the subject and in methods and techniques of MQL and MT. Anything not is just distracting and confusing.

I'm visiting some of the topical online resources, 4pda being an excellent example. The forum is divided into sections by manufacturer, the sections consist of threads on specific model gadgets. Some people are sitting in a thread discussing their HTC M8. Here some rabid guy bursts in and starts to spout at the top of his voice "your device is rubbish, Huawei is much better, it's easier to install firmware on it, and the battery keeps better, come to me, I'll show you everything and tell you how bad HTC is and how much they make lame devices!!!". People won't even have time to read it, because at best his post will be immediately deleted, and at worst the scoundrel will be banned. And rightly so, the discussion continues in a constructive way, people quietly and peacefully continue to work on their M8s, flashing them and making S-OFFs with them ... Even if someone asks about sister device HTC M8 dual sim they will be politely rejected. Where such discussions are appropriate.

So the guilty get banned, the amnestied get banned again but permanently. Peace be upon you, topicstarter - go on!

It's what you think it is and not what was actually said.

That's what you imagined, not what was actually said.
Friendship is friendship, but the truth is more valuable. Admit the obvious to yourself and you will feel better. If you want to talk about extraneous topics, do it somewhere else.
