How to set obj_edit character length

Hello there happy people, how can i set a certain number of character length in OBJ_EDIT. for instance i want a certain edit box (OBJ_EDIT) to display a certain number of of characters. how do i go about this.

Well, first of all, you don't know.

Because fonts have different spacings for characters. So you need to select a font with the same spacing for each character.

Then you can use TextGetSize
