Key obstacle affecting the growth and expansion of MT5 and MQL5 community
This is a message to the MT5 and MQL5 community. Metartrader5 is not working on wins10. This is the reason why most of new EA developers go back to MT4 because MT5 does not work properly on win10.
I am used to MT4 now I switched to MQL5 to explore EA development and algo trading. But my MQL5 keeps on suddenly closing down. It works for a little while and then it automatically close down. I have tried to google but I cannot find a solution. I have approached some very experienced computer/software engineers but no solution. My laptop is 16 gb RAM win 10 Dell. I am running both MT4 terminals without problem. I use Wi-Fi for Internet connection. Why is metatrader5 keeps on closing? I have installed two new builds from metatrader5 and Roboforex but both of them keeps on suddenly closing down and unsaved information get lost, very annoying!! I have noticed that this problem has been going on for many years. It get reported and nothing is done. As result people get discouraged and go back to MT4. This is an appeal to MT5 and MQL5 community to resolve this issue because it is a major obstacle to the growth of this community. If MT4 works perfectly on win10, MT5 should work even better. I never experienced this problem and I've been using MT5 for a long time. Have tried to use it without any custom indicator or EA loaded (a clean installation)?
Windows has Event Viewer, there, in Windows Logs > Application you can see the error message related to metatrader, what error does it show?

I have used MT5 for years on Windows 10 Dell 64bit, 16gb RAM without the issues you refer to.

You have a problem and you are thinking the world has a problem...it's weird reasoning. If you want positive contribution don't start posting conclusions which doesn't make sense. There is no general issue with MT5.
What is your configuration ? What MT5 build ?
If MT5 starts even for a while, it should be reported in the logs : C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[INSTANCE_ID]\Logs
