Discussion of article "How to Prepare a Trading Account for Migration to Virtual Hosting" - page 29

Karputov Vladimir:

In virtual hosting, built into the terminal, you actually do not have access to information about the disc (its size). And you can always view the disc usage in the following way: Working with virtual platform. And quite a normal situation is a disc usage around 250 MB:

Thank you, so the size of terminal logs doesn't matter.

Sorry, I looked through the whole thread but never once saw the word "report".

I am planning to host my own EA. How will I be able to upload trade reports?

Connect to your trading account from the local terminal, select the time period of interest and create a report. For advanced users: Trade Report - Trading Platform

Cool. So you can create a report from the local terminal? Well, then everything is convenient. Thank you.

The main thing is that when virtual hosting is enabled on this trading account, the "Service" - "Settings" - "Signals" - Allow subscription to receive signals option must be switched off in the terminal.

Wow. Okay - thank you. I should be up and running this week. I'll give it a try.

And another question about vps. If I want to broadcast a signal from an EA on hosting, do I need to make some special settings in the terminal?

There is no visual interface on the built-in shared hosting. See Help: How to become a signal provider

Vladimir,

Can you tell me, if possible, are such messages in the log on the hosting normal? Are the Expert Advisors working?

This log file shows that there are two charts and two Expert Advisors:

2016.04.07 06:37:43.652 '135876': login on AlfaForex-Server through SERVER3 (ping: 5.00 ms)
2016.04.07 06:37:43.762 '135876': login datacenter on AlfaForex-Server through SERVER3 (ping: 5.00 ms)

But whether these Expert Advisors are working or hanging - here you need to control it yourself. For example, by simply displaying the "I'm still alive!" print every minute.
