What was the solution? Since changing the IP didn't help, I got following answer: "The solution is to reinstall your VPS with our latest template of Windows Server 2012".
Yes, I had to reinstall everything, each EA had an additional activation then...
However, I also got from MQL5 the answer, that they do not generally block IPs of ForexVPS. But they couldn't name me the root cause. ForexVPS either. So long story short, the reason for that issue from out of nothing is not clear, which is quite unsatisfying.
But I hope this will help some people.
