I currently have a demo account set up and I would like to now set up a live account. Can I get help or instructions? I have been trying to switch it from my end of the terminal but I think I need a different login/password.

Go to your broker's website.

  1. Metaquotes is not a broker.

  2. You can only trade what your broker allows.
              Market Watch → right-click → Show All. Or,
              View (Alt+V) → Symbols (Control+U) → double-click to add.

  3. Is MQL only for Forex? - General - MQL5 programming forum: FX, metals, binary options, bit coin. MT4 doesn't allow trading shares, options and futures. MT5 does.

  4. Discussion about specific brokers is prohibited on the forum. You have to do your own research and due diligence.

  5. Some demo accounts have limited duration with some brokers. Some expire after lack of use with others.

You can't turn a demo account to a real one, contact your broker about opening a real account.

your Q shows that you are not ready yet, if you studied enough you will realise by yourself how to open a live account.

Please take more time of study the market before going to live account to save your money, there are many things you should know  before opening a live account. 

Study, study and study, don't be in a hurry
