Hi guys I have a question, obviously no ea can run on the same inputs and parameters for a long period of time providing profitable results over and over again. My question is when do you know or when you do identify when your ea isn’t performing well what measures do you take ? Is there any suggestions on when to stop the ea or when to change the settings if it isn’t performing well or isn’t performing similar to the way it was in the past ? Is there any rules or guidelines as to let’s say the ea starts giving out bad results for 1 month or 2 months or 3 months do you change it then or something like if it goes down a certain percentage then it’s time ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. There is no answer to this question. After all, no one knows the future, so changes come unexpectedly. If you try to divide the entire market into phases, you can adjust the EA for each phase.

phases of global and local trends: forward movement, recoil, return to movement.

for an example, now the up global trend is rolling back, but the direct movement of the local trend is down.
